Phoneomena
Inc. is a privately held company located in downtown Gainesville,
Florida, home of the University of Florida Gators. Phoneomena
was established in 2001 by a group of faculty and graduates
from the University of Florida who are actively working on
cutting edge projects on mobile and pervasive computing, and
who realize the enormous growth in the wireless
application market. Phoneomena
specializes in creating critical and innovative Middleware
and network-aware applications. Phoneomena develops for
a variety of mobile and thin client platforms, including
J2ME, .NET, thin clients, Windows-CE, and embedded Linux.
Phoneomena also specializes in turnkey solutions for location-based
and on-demand mobile services.
Our
long term mission is to turn this area of Florida into a
hotbed of wireless and mobile technology developments and
innovations.
